Our client a boutique regulated Forex company based in Limassol is currently looking for a Business Analyst to join the team.
Profile:
- The successful applicant will have relevant academic background and must possess a minimum of 3+ year’s prior experience in Business analysis.
- Only EU citizens without work permit requirements will be considered either based in Cyprus or willing to relocate to Cyprus
Main Duties and responsibilities:
- Business Requirement Analysis
- Solicits, analyse, documents and communicates the business requirements related to projects
- Organises, translates, prioritises and simplifies requirements
- Manage requirements throughout the project life-cycle
- Translates business requirements into functional specifications
- Documents workflows and results of business analysis and obtains approval from Management on the specifications
- Provides the link between end users and the development teams, and any third party regarding software functionality, throughout the development lifecycle
- Day to day management of change requests in relation to the project plans to ensure agreed deadlines are met
- Submits regular status reports showing progress against outstanding milestones, status, resource requirements, issues, risks and dependencies
- Initiates and inputs to shared project vision across the team.
Skills and Qualifications:
- BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Finance or Mathematics.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position.
- Fluent with Excel and formulas.
- Experience with Agile methodology and Jira/Confluence Software.
- Critical thinking and analytical skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Very good attention to details.
- Time management and Project management skills.
- Previous experience in the Forex Industry will be considered as a plus.
Working hours:
Monday to Friday 8:30 to 5:30 at the office (no remote work)
