Our client an established Cyber Security company is seeking to recruit a Business Analyst for their offices in Limassol.

Position Overview

  • We are seeking a motivated and analytical Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will act as the key link between customer business stakeholders, vendor technology teams, and internal delivery teams, ensuring the successful implementation, adoption and ongoing optimisation of fraud prevention solutions.
  • Working in a dynamic and collaborative environment, you will be responsible for understanding customer business challenges, eliciting and analysing requirements, configuring fraud solutions, supporting implementation projects, and acting as the trusted technical advisor throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • The successful candidate will become the product owner for the fraud solutions delivered to our customers, maintaining in-depth knowledge of the platforms, advising customers on best practices, and ensuring each solution continues to deliver maximum business value.
  • We are looking for someone who is a strong communicator, analytical thinker and problem solver, who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with customers, vendors and internal stakeholders to deliver innovative fraud prevention solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Engage with business stakeholders to understand business needs, fraud challenges, operational processes and opportunities for improvement.
  • Elicit, analyse and document business, functional and non-functional requirements using appropriate techniques.
  • Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications for technology teams and solution vendors.
  • Collaborate with technology teams, vendors and customer stakeholders to design fraud prevention solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Configure fraud prevention platforms based on approved business and technical requirements, ensuring solutions are aligned with customer operational needs.
  • Act as the product owner and subject matter expert for assigned fraud solutions, maintaining a strong understanding of product capabilities, roadmap and industry best practices.
  • Provide technical and functional guidance to customers throughout the solution lifecycle, acting as a trusted advisor for fraud prevention initiatives.
  • Support customers in analysing fraud use cases and recommend improvements to fraud detection strategies, workflows and operational processes.
  • Coordinate and support solution implementation projects, ensuring activities are delivered according to agreed timelines, scope and quality standards.
  • Liaise with software vendors regarding product capabilities, feature requests, technical issues and solution enhancements.
  • Ensure business requirements are clearly understood, validated and successfully implemented.
  • Design, coordinate and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring delivered solutions meet customer expectations and business objectives.
  • Support issue analysis, troubleshooting, resolution and re-testing during implementation and post-production activities.
  • Monitor customer adoption of deployed solutions, identify optimisation opportunities and recommend continuous improvements.
  • Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders, vendors and internal teams, becoming the primary point of contact for assigned fraud solutions.
  • Act as a trusted liaison between business and technology teams, facilitating effective communication and decision-making throughout project delivery and ongoing customer engagements.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Business Analysis practices, implementation methodologies, documentation standards and solution templates.

Candidate Profile:

  • Undergraduate Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field.
  • At least two years of experience in a Business Analyst, System Analyst, Solution Consultant or related customer-facing technology role.
  • Experience in preparing business requirements, functional specifications, process models or related documentation.
  • Experience participating in software implementation or technology-driven projects.
  • Experience configuring enterprise software solutions will be considered an advantage.
  • Understanding of Business Analysis principles, methodologies and best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into practical technology solutions.
  • An interest in fraud prevention, financial technology, banking or payment ecosystems will be considered an advantage.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including customer executive and operational teams.
  • Strong customer-facing, presentation and consulting skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • Attentive to detail, organised and committed to delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills in Greek and English, both written and spoken.
  • Demonstrated willingness to continuously learn new technologies and maintain expertise in evolving fraud prevention platforms.
