Our client is a leading international CySec Licensed Forex Trading Company with offices in a number of locations worldwide. For their office in Limassol, they are looking to hire an IT Operations Analyst to join their Operations Team. This is a position that is focused on the support of the external client-facing Trading Systems, and the internal Services, Payment System Integrations, Market Data Feeds, Web Services, and Databases that facilitate and manage our clients' Trading Activities. Production Support experience at an FX, Securities, or online Casino business is ideal for this position, as is experience with Meta Trader's MT4 or MT5 systems.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a suite of leading-edge and business-critical technologies as part of a team of highly experienced Administrators and Engineers.  They will have a real and notable impact on the Company's future success and fulfil a key role in providing our customers with the best possible user experience.

Candidates should have University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar discipline, and a Minimum of 3 years' experience in a System Administrator role as part of an IT Operations or Infrastructure team. This should include solid experience and knowledge of the key technologies and working practices outlined below.

Responsibilities:

Collaborating with PMs and Developers for both Release Management and Deployment
Maintain and support both Virtual & Physical Machine environments
Supporting Environments & Systems across the entire project lifecycle (Dev., Pre-prod., Production)
Configure and maintain servers and processes, including the monitoring of system health and performance
Provide Level 1 & 2 support for System Incidents, including participating in a weekly out-of-hours support rota
Installation, Administration Troubleshooting and Maintenance of VMware ESXi (5.x, 6.x & 7.x)
Patching Windows Servers via Automated tools such as WSUS
Documenting the configuration of current infrastructure services and the support procedures of both new and legacy systems

Requirements:

Practical experience with the installation, administrating and troubleshooting of Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019 and its most common roles (AD, DNS, DHCP, File Server)
Knowledge of VLANs, Subnetting, Routing and Switching, good understanding of OSI
IT Security Knowledge and Experience, including Firewall administration and knowledge of IPS and WAF
VMWare Administration experience
Knowledge of datacentre network infrastructure (from ISP through to end user)
Clearly demonstrated knowledge and experience of managing Windows Server operating systems, Virtualization technology and SAN solutions
Experience or knowledge of Load Balancing, and ideally of DNS and Content Delivery Networks
Experience using industry-standard monitoring tools such as Zabbix or Nagios
Good time-management and task-prioritization skills
The ability to prioritize Incidents and Risks by determining their impact on the Production environment
Substantial technical troubleshooting and problem-solving background
Work effectively independently and as part of a team. Good team player
