My client is a Limassol based Neobank offering online secure, transparent and seamless financial services and advanced multicurrency management and they are looking to recruit a Back Office & Customer Support Officer to handle the day-to-day duties in the Back Office Department

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Sort and address pending transactions by priority to maintain timely processing.
  • Conduct KYC checks to maintain Compliance standards.
  • Communicate with clients via email when additional information or documentation is required to process pending transactions.
  • Provide responsive and efficient client support through email, live chat, phone, and by addressing various client inquiries.
  • Identify potentially unusual, suspicious, or fraudulent activities and escalate these cases to the Compliance department.
  • Coordinate document translations into English when necessary.
  • Perform general administrative tasks as part of daily operations.

Candidate Profile:

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills 
  • Attention to detail & high level of accuracy 
  • Good verbal and communication skills
  • Available to be working with shifts with rotating weeks: 1st shift: 07:30 - 16:30, 2nd shift: 13:30 - 22:30)
  • Available to be working on Public Holidays (on rotation)
  • Familiarity with the Portuguese language will be considered an advantage
  • Familiarity with payment methods will be considered an advantage
  • Familiarity with the Financial markets will be considered an advantage
  • Experience with KYC and AML procedures will be considered an advantage

Working hours: 

  • Monday to Friday 9:00am to 6:00pm (1 hour lunch break)
