Our client, one of the leading Construction and Development companies in Cyprus, responsible for many of the island's landmark developments, is looking for an Architect to join their team and will be based in Limassol.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Communication with Clients to discuss potential changes and obtain confirmations to proceed
- Communication with Client’s Interior Designers/Representatives to discuss the proposed changes
- Review and comment on submissions from the Clients and/or Clients Interior Designers/Representatives
- Preparation of all documentation required to be issued to the main contractor for pricing
- Liaising with Main Contractor regarding the changes
- Liaising with all relevant Consultants making sure that the proposed changes are feasible
- Liaising with Local Architects for preparing all required drawings
- Liaising with suppliers/subcontractors and obtaining options and prices based on clients’ requests
- Keeping track of the changes and making sure these are officially communicated to the main contractor
- Site Inspection to ensure all confirmed changes have been implemented by the contractor
- Assisting the Architectural Project Manager on the day-to-day work
- Ensure efficient and seamless delivery of units to the clients in a professional manner
- Liaising with Local Authorities when required
- Liaising with the main contractor and subcontractors dealing with on-site issues
Requirements, Skills and Attributes:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture required, Master’s degree preferred.
- At least 5-8 years of relevant experience
- Previous experience of working on a project larger than €10m
- Previous experience of supervising a more junior team member
- Previous experience in client facing
- Previous experience in undertaking site inspections
- Previous experience in reviewing shop drawings and material acceptance
- Previous experience in co-ordinating multidisciplined consultants
- Previous experience with acting as a liaison with authorities in Cyprus
- Registered at ETEK
- Fluency in both Greek and English, written and spoken
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Extremely proficient with computer-aided design (CAD) and Microsoft software
- Excellent problem-solving, negotiation and consultation skills.
- Ability to translate client ideas into visual and/or tangible references such as drawings or models.
- Experience in project deliver to the clients.
