Our client, a International Travel company based in Limassol are expanding and they are looking to hire an experienced Russian-speaking Accountant with experience in SAP to join their growing team.

Responsibilities:

  • Proficient in accounting software: SAP, E-soft, Soft-one, Microsoft CRM and Excel
  • Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs. 
  • Prepare financial Invoices for Customers and Suppliers.
  • Manage and posting accounting transactions: Handle all accounting transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Reconcile Accounts: Reconcile accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up-to date.
  • Bank and Cash Reconciliation: Reconcile bank and Cash balances and ensure timely bank payments.
  • Oversee Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including balance sheets, income statements, and other financial documents.
  • Maintain General Ledger: Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
  • Prepare Tax Returns: Handle the preparation of tax returns support for the external audits.
  • Debit, credit, and total accounts on computer spreadsheet and databases, using specialized accounting software.
  • Reconcile or note and report discrepancies found in records.

Requirements:

  • Higher education in Accounting, Finance, or Economics. 
  • At least 3 years of experience as an Accountant
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles
  • Knowledge of tax legislation
  • Mandatory knowledge of the SAP program
  • Attention to detail and high level of responsibility
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Experience with online banking (Revolut, Bank of Cyprus etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Russian is an advantage.
