Our client, a International Travel company based in Limassol are expanding and they are looking to hire an experienced Russian-speaking Accountant with experience in SAP to join their growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Proficient in accounting software: SAP, E-soft, Soft-one, Microsoft CRM and Excel
- Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
- Prepare financial Invoices for Customers and Suppliers.
- Manage and posting accounting transactions: Handle all accounting transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Reconcile Accounts: Reconcile accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up-to date.
- Bank and Cash Reconciliation: Reconcile bank and Cash balances and ensure timely bank payments.
- Oversee Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including balance sheets, income statements, and other financial documents.
- Maintain General Ledger: Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Prepare Tax Returns: Handle the preparation of tax returns support for the external audits.
- Debit, credit, and total accounts on computer spreadsheet and databases, using specialized accounting software.
- Reconcile or note and report discrepancies found in records.
Requirements:
- Higher education in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- At least 3 years of experience as an Accountant
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Knowledge of tax legislation
- Mandatory knowledge of the SAP program
- Attention to detail and high level of responsibility
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Experience with online banking (Revolut, Bank of Cyprus etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Russian is an advantage.
