Our client, a boutique and CySEC licensed AIFM is looking to hire a part time Senior Accountant to join their team based in Limassol.
The role will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, including managing salaries, VAT, accounts reconciliations, and preparing financial statements.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and processing of payroll.
- Manage the company's VAT compliance, including accurate calculation, timely filing, and payment.
- Supervise day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Ensure regular reconciliation of all financial accounts.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly reports and annual financial statements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
- Proven experience in a senior financial management role, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems (e.g., ERP systems, Excel).
