Our client is an International Educational Facility and they are currently looking to recruit two further Accountants to join their accounting team at their Limassol premises and reporting directly to the Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities: 

Sales Ledger

  • Prepare invoices (parents, donors, counterparties etc.)
  • Perform cashier duties for some hours every week
  • Record customer receipts (bank payments, on-line payments, card payments and cash) 
  • Prepare sales and receipts reporting, as well as ageing analysis. Liaise with reception for collection of overdue invoices

Purchases Ledger

  • Post supplier invoices
  • Post payments to suppliers
  • Prepare supplier management reports, prepare monthly payment calendars 

Fixed Assets Register Maintenance

  • Record fixed asset purchases/disposals
  • Run and post depreciation
  • Perform the fixed assets count

General

  • Assist the Finance team in any ad hoc project 
  • Assist in the year end closing and external audit process
  • Assist in compiling and maintenance of the electronic archive

Candidate Profile:

  • Degree in Accounting or LCCI Accounting 3rd Level or AAT Technician
  • 3+years of accounting working experience is a must
  • Proficiency in MS Office especially MS Excel
  • Knowledge of VAT
  • Proficiency in the Greek and English Languages (both verbal and written)
  • Knowledge of any ERP (E-Soft / Premier Soft, Navision etc.)

  • Ability to meet deadlines

Other:

  • Hybrid working format (possible arrangement of 2 days working from home after probation period)
