Our client is a well-established Ship Management Company in Limassol and they are looking for a Vessel Accountant. Recent graduates will be considered too as training will be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assisting in the preparation of the accounts related to vessels of the group
- Preparation of monthly internal reporting.
- Follow up on budget and explain deviations against actuals.
- Booking of invoices in SAP Accounting software.
- Preparation of payments and ensure suppliers are paid on time.
- Monthly reconciliation of all Balance Sheet accounts.
- Liaise with other departments related to vessel accounting, such as technical, purchasing, crewing etc.
- Assist in preparing the annual budget/forecast to be submitted to vessel owners.
- Any other task which the Management may require to be carried out and which is relevant to the duties of the position
Skills:
- Relevant Degree
- Good knowledge of MS office
- Fluent business level Greek and English
- Written communication skills
- Initiative and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good organizational skills
- Salary package adaptable based on skills
Working Hours:
- The working schedule is 8 hours per day, offering some flexibility to suit individual preferences.
- Typical hours are either 08:30–17:30 with a one-hour lunch break or 09:00–17:30 with a 30-minute break.
- Team members can generally finish as early as 17:30 on weekdays, while Fridays offer an earlier finish at 17:00.
- This is an onsite role.
