Our client, a smart payment cashier software company, is currently looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer at their offices in Limassol, or if currently overseas a remote option. A Hybrid Model can be discussed if you are not located in Limassol .
Job Summary:
This document outlines the core responsibilities and expectations for the UI/UX Designer role within our team. As a UI/UX Designer, you are responsible for crafting intuitive and engaging digital experiences for our products. Your work involves, translating user needs into effective designs, and ensuring a consistent and high-quality user experience across all touchpoints, in accordance with business needs and within the boundaries of technical feasibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Product Managers to understand user requirements and product goals.
- Translate user requirements and product goals into clear and effective wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and final visual designs.
- Maintain and contribute to our design system and style guides to ensure visual consistency across all products.
- Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to gather user feedback and identify areas for design improvement. Iterate on designs based on user feedback, research findings, and technical considerations.
- Create user flows, interaction specifications, and intuitive layouts that align with product strategy and user needs.
- Clearly communicate design recommendations and rationale to relevant stakeholders.
- Provide final design assets and offer guidance to the Development team during implementation, addressing any design-related questions or edge cases.
- Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in UI/UX design.
- Advocate for a user-centered approach in all design recommendations, balancing user needs with business goals and technical constraints.
- Participate in internal design reviews and contribute to the discussions.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of our design processes and tools.
- Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with the company's policies and applicable laws and regulations.
Key Relationships & Stakeholders:
- In this role, you will regularly collaborate and communicate with: Product Lead (Product Manager): Your line manager, for guidance, feedback, alignment on product strategy, and reporting.
- Other Product Managers: To understand the specific requirements and goals for their respective product areas.
- Development Teams: For the successful implementation of designs, providing specifications, and addressing technical feasibility.
- System Analysts and Architects: To align designs with technical specifications, understand product capabilities and limitations, and address implementation complexities.
- Other Designers: For maintaining design consistency, sharing knowledge, and feedback with each other.
- Customer Success Managers (CSM), Customer Support, and Sales Teams: To gather feedback from customer interactions and understand business needs and challenges.
