Our client is a Payment Service Provider with offices in Limassol and they are currently looking to recruit an experienced Treasury Manager for their Crypto Division.
Key Responsibilities:
Treasury Management:
- Develop and implement treasury strategies to optimize liquidity, cash flow, and capital allocation within the crypto division.
- Manage daily cash positioning, forecasting, and liquidity management for both fiat and digital assets.
- Oversee the management of crypto wallets, including security, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of crypto and fiat transactions, resolving discrepancies and maintaining financial integrity.
Reconciliation & Reporting:
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of cryptocurrency transactions, wallets, and exchange balances.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between internal records, blockchain transactions, and third-party reports.
- Maintain detailed audit trails and documentation to support financial accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to align reconciliation processes with financial reporting requirements.
Risk Management:
- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks related to cryptocurrency holdings, including market volatility, counterparty risk, and regulatory changes.
- Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures specific to digital assets.
- Monitor and manage exposure to cryptocurrency price fluctuations and other market risks.
Financial Strategy:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align treasury operations with the company’s overall financial strategy and business objectives.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations on cryptocurrency investments, hedging strategies, and capital structure.
- Evaluate and execute opportunities for yield generation through staking, lending, and other crypto-related financial instruments.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards related to cryptocurrency treasury operations.
- Stay abreast of evolving regulations and industry trends, and adapt treasury strategies accordingly.
- Work closely with legal and compliance teams to address regulatory challenges and ensure adherence to best practices.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Prepare and present regular treasury reports to senior management, including liquidity analysis, risk exposure, and financial performance.
- Act as a key point of contact for external stakeholders, including banks, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies.
- Foster strong relationships with internal teams, including finance, operations, and technology, to ensure seamless treasury operations.
Technology and Innovation:
- Leverage blockchain technology and fintech solutions to enhance treasury operations and improve efficiency.
- Stay informed about emerging trends and innovations in the crypto space, and assess their potential impact on treasury management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in treasury management, with at least 3+ years in a role within cryptocurrency.
- Deep understanding of cryptocurrency markets, blockchain technology, and digital asset management.
- Strong knowledge of financial risk management, liquidity management, and capital markets.
- Experience with crypto wallets, exchanges, and custody solutions.
- Proven experience in transaction reconciliation, financial reporting, and discrepancy resolution.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to digital assets.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Salary:
- Salary is negotiable and will be based on experience
