Our client, a boutique algorithmic trading firm with a global footprint, operating successfully for several years across multiple markets are looking for a Trading System Operator to join their operations in Limassol. The role is designed for analytically minded individuals who want to build a career in systematic trading and financial markets.
What you’ll do:
- Monitor and oversee automated trading systems in real time.
- Ensure smooth daily operation and respond to system or market events.
- Analyse trading activity and system performance.
- Stay informed on key developments in financial markets and relevant assets.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to details.
- Genuine interest in financial markets and trading.
- Degree in Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related field is a plus.
- Basic Excel skills.
- Fluency in English.
Nice to have (but not required):
- Exposure to trading, finance, or data analysis.
- Familiarity with financial news and market structure.
- Familiarity with Python programming language, Cursor, Claude.
Working setup:
- No prior trading experience required as full training will be provided.
- Working hours are evening shifts from 15:30 to 23:30 Monday- Friday.
- Ability to work on Cyprus public holidays.
- Salary offered between 1,800- 2,000 EUR gross.
