An International Ship Registry is seeking to recruit a Technical Manager to support its Technical Department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The successful applicant will be working at the Registry’s International Office in Limassol and will mainly be responsible for:
Continuous monitor and evaluation of ships under the registry
Establish and follow up Flag State Inspection scheme
Review, evaluate and follow up port state control inspections in various MOUs
Technical, Environmental, Safety and Security issues relating to ships
Report to the top management
Minimum Qualifications:
University degree in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering or any other related field
Minimum 10 years’ experience in the technical department of a ship registry or a shipping company
Proficiency in English language
Ability to communicate effectively and work under pressure
Organizational skills
Planning skills and ability to prioritize to adhere to deadlines
Computer literate
Remuneration:
An attractive remuneration package which includes 13th salary and bonus scheme will be offered to the successful candidate.
