Our client a well-established and respected Aviation Company and they are involved in Repair & Maintenance of private aircraft worldwide. They are looking for a Technical Coordinator /Dispatcher for their Coordination Department in Larnaca. The person holding this job is expected to coordinate in a timely manner the required actions concerning the work and support undertaken by a team of aircraft engineers providing any kind of technical support worldwide. The job consists of planning and coordination tasks including dispatching engineers, ordering parts and tooling, monitoring shipments, performing work order and other paperwork reviews, compiling workpacks and estimates, preparing supports in accordance with technical manuals, monitoring communications and supporting the engineers and the activities as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate in a timely manner the required actions concerning the work and support undertaken by a team of aircraft engineers that provide technical support worldwide as described in the company SOPs, PART 145 MOEs and other company documentation
  • Dispatch engineers and perform maintenance scheduling in order to achieve workflow efficiency as well as plan and coordinate resource allocation
  • Stay abreast of all communications, continually monitor supports and promptly take all appropriate actions anticipating needs and preventing possible issues arising during the support; liaise with customer, end-customers and engineers.
  • Ensure correctness of support coordination and track, follow-up and ensure that all processes are successfully carried out until completion
  • Compile workpacks and estimates, check and consolidate costs, buy and order parts and equipment, deal with suppliers, arrange and monitor shipping and perform any other duties related to planning and coordination
  • For simple supports, prepare supports in accordance with technical manuals
  • Verify that maintenance activities are within the scope of work and comply with the rules, directives and correct procedures
  • Review work authorizations, work orders and any paperwork in accordance with the regulations and instructions, fill in all appropriate forms and coordinate corrections with engineers and other personnel ensuring accurate completion and compliance
  • Keep continuously updated and accurate databases, review correctness and appropriately maintain and store records and documentation 
  • Compile statistics and reports, collect and record requested data and information, requirements, events, maintenance history and other
  • Monitor and coordinate operational needs as required, such as coordinating trainings, airport access, monitoring status of travel documents, staff licenses, authorizations and certificates and any other supporting documentation ensuring compliance and facilitating the ability of engineers to travel and perform maintenance work as well as the ability of staff to fulfil operational needs.
  • Appropriately record and share with maintenance team any maintenance and compliance directives, guidelines and instructions received, ensure access to updated documentation
  • Create and update requested manuals and other documents

Requirements:

  • At least 4 years experience in a technical role in the aircraft maintenance side of aviation 
  • Fluency in English 
  • People skills
  • Able to multitask.

Working hours:

  • It is shift based work. The work is on overlapping shift: 8AM to 8PM and 1PM to 1AM (2 shifts per day).
  • The current shift pattern is 3 days On/3 days Off with morning and afternoon shift with a 4th day of administrative tasks required twice a month.
  • Work at the company premises is only expected Monday to Friday and only for the morning shift.
  • All other shifts (late shift and any any shifts taken during weekends) can be performed from home.
