Our client, a regulated financial trading Company based in Limassol, is looking to recruit a BDM Team Leader to oversee the daily and long-term operations of company's branches across a geographic region.  The company is Chinese-owned, not only trading in forex but also in silver, gold, white label, etc. It has multiple licenses in various jurisdictions with over 350 staff across major financial service centers. It is an office role but remote work from Cyprus is negotiable. We are looking for people who are already located in Cyprus. They are looking for independent and responsible people, who can run their own business.


  • Head up and manage own BD team with an overall goal to increase the retail side of the business
  • Create affiliate/IB partnerships in new or established markets
  • Use a professional network to generate new business
  • Create regional sales plans and quotas in alignment with agreed business objectives
  • Report on KPIs to senior management
  • Identify new business opportunities and initiate business development activities
  • Evaluate and determine short- and long-term sales goals
  • Maintain and monitor retention of retail clients and IBs
  • Mentor and provide training to BD team, providing leadership on hiring and staff retention
  • Oversee sales and marketing promotions
  • Monitoring, allocating leads and accounts, including the preparation of reports to measure leads and accounts
  • Team communication monitoring to ensure professional conduct and regulatory compliance
  • Assist team with building their portfolio on a day-to-day basis
  • Develop and manage key client/partner relationships


  • University degree in Business, Finance, Economics or equivalent
  • At least 3 - 5 years of experience in leading a team in financial markets
  • Must be able to train new and existing sales team members on new products and services of the Company
  • Knowledgeable about the markets
  • Previous experience and knowledge of CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • Fluent English – additional languages will be considered an advantage
  • Previous management experience with an existing IB network, partners, affiliates is a must
  • Strong team player and team leader
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Goal oriented with an entrepreneurial spirit
