A well-established technical company in Larnaca district is looking for a Shipping Department Officer.
Responsibilities:
- Daily communication with shipowners, operators, customers etc. by email and phone and also by visiting the ships
- Organisation and coordination for safe arrival and departure of the expected ships
- Prepare and issue various documents (loadings, manifest, customs documents etc.)
- Communication and coordination with the governmental services
- Preparation of statistics and reports
Requirements:
- Degree in Shipping, Business Administration, or relevant field
- 2-3 relevant work experience in the shipping industry or relevant field
- Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English Language (verbal and written)
- Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook)
- Working hours flexibility (overtime, weekends, public holidays), based on the ships’ arrivals
- Communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Teamwork skills
Working hours:
The working hours are 07:00 – 15:00 (available for overtime, weekends, public holidays)
