About the Role
- We’re looking for an experienced Senior WordPress Developer to take ownership of advanced WordPress projects — from custom theme and plugin development to integrations and performance optimization.
- You’ll be responsible for building fast, clean, and reliable WordPress-based websites with strong attention to detail and high-quality code.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins
- Convert Figma or XD designs into pixel-perfect, responsive WordPress layouts
- Integrate REST APIs and third-party services (CRM, payment systems, analytics, etc.)
- Optimize performance, Core Web Vitals, and SEO across all WordPress environments
- Implement custom post types, taxonomies, and ACF or Gutenberg blocks
- Debug and resolve complex WordPress or PHP-related issues
- Use Git for version control and ensure code quality and maintainability
- Collaborate with designers and frontend developers to ensure perfect execution
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional WordPress development experience
- Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+)
- Deep understanding of WordPress core, hooks, and plugin architecture
- Experience with Elementor and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF)
- Proficiency in MySQL and query optimization
- Experience integrating and customizing APIs
- Strong grasp of performance optimization, security, and SEO best practices
- Ability to work independently and deliver clean, maintainable code
Nice to Have
- Experience with WooCommerce or membership/subscription functionality
- Familiarity with multi-language setups (WPML, Polylang, etc.)
- Understanding of accessibility and best UX/UI implementation practices
