Our client is a boutique Advisory Services Group supporting investment fund managers, global investment firms, crypto asset providers, family offices and electronic money institutions (EMI) operating worldwide. Due to continuous growth my client is looking to recruit a Senior Regulatory Compliance and Legal Associate for their offices in Limassol.
Job Description:
- Lead and coordinate the licensing procedures of new and existing clients across multiple jurisdictions, including CySEC, FSCA, DFSA, FSRA, FSA Seychelles, FSC Mauritius etc.
- Draft, and review regulatory documents such as compliance and AML manuals, policies, business plans, and internal control frameworks.
- Ensure ongoing compliance, and other licensed entities with applicable laws and regulations through periodic monitoring and advisory.
- Prepare and deliver regulatory reports, including Annual Compliance Reports, Internal Audit Reports, and Ad-Hoc submissions to regulatory authorities.
- Conduct internal audit engagements, perform on-site inspections, and issue detailed findings and recommendations addressing identified weaknesses and deficiencies.
- Review, draft, various contracts, including Letters of Engagement, NDAs, Escrow agreements, Share Purchase Agreements, ensuring consistency with company standards.
- Oversee and maintain the statutory obligations of client companies in Cyprus and abroad, ensuring compliance with local corporate and filing requirements – including annual returns, beneficial ownership registers, HE32 filings, and board resolutions.
- Monitor regulatory developments at EU and international level (MiFID II, MiCA, AMLD etc) and advise on their implementation.
- Prepare and deliver training materials, including content for the Institute for Professional Excellence (IforPE).
- Support M&A and corporate structuring projects, including due diligence, ownership changes, and regulated entity transfers.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional experience in a Regulatory Compliance related function within financial or professional services.
- Strong knowledge of MiFID II, Investment Firms Law and Regulation (IFR/IFD), and familiarity with international frameworks.
- Degree in Law, Finance, or a related field.
- A background in a legal position is preferred.
- Excellent drafting and communication skills in English.
- Strong command of MS Office and proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
Salary and Benefits
- Salary offered of 30,000 - 50, 000 Euros gross annually based on experience.

Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday 9:00am to 6:00pm (1 hour break)
- Starting date as soon as possible
