A Payment Solutions Company in Limassol, belonging to a group of very innovative companies with excellent benefits, is looking for Senior Payment Analyst. This payments expert should be able to see behind numbers and data and help the merchants reach their maximum processing potential. The successful candidate will have strong online payments industry experience in analyzing payments data and getting the best insights out of them. Through this position, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with multiple departments and help the company enhance its processes through data analytics and sustainable reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor the performance of Merchants by analyzing transaction data to suggest enhancements
- Monitor the performance of APMs by analyzing transaction data to increase the Merchants' approval ratios
- Suggest improvements the Merchants can follow so they fulfill their targets
- Bottom-up research: Analyze conversion funnels, feature impact, and fraud trends, evaluate new data sources and detect data patterns.
- Provide data-driven actionable insight to operations and account management teams by means of product analytics, in order to optimize user experience and drive growth to meet our business goals
- Drive efforts to enhance the scalability and automation of analytic projects
- Provide management and a wide range of teams with insights and a deep understanding of various areas
- Generate Summary of Findings reports and presentations to all levels of management on performance findings and opportunities
- The candidate will proactively review the company’s Merchant portfolio and address risk trends via consultations with various departments and the Account managers of the Merchant.
- Generate reports to various departments such as management, Sales, Operations, Risk and Compliance on an ad-hoc but also regular basis. We are looking for someone that will be capable of suggesting the routine repetitive reporting needs and enhancements to those departments.
- Help the Monitoring team to enhance the monitoring system, reduce the false positive and improve alert performance through analytics and reporting
- Design and develop repeatable exception reporting from various source system outputs or data warehouse tables, with a key focus on automation opportunities
- Analyzing and re-organizing processing data to achieve consistent analysis and measurement
Requirements:
- B.Sc - Math, Statistics, Computers science, Data Science, Engineering/Economics, or similar
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role in the payments industry
- Proven experience in a data-driven role using SQL
- Apache Superset prior experience will be considered a strong advantage
- Previous experience of the payments industry, including knowledge of Card Schemes rules, terms and programs
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Persistency and eagerness to overcome challenges
- Experience with research, AB testing, and statistical background - strong advantage
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Working schedule:
- Monday to Friday, flexible working hours, 8 hours of active work
