Our client is an ASP/Corporate Services firm based in Nicosia currently looking to recruit a Senior Financial Analyst to join the team 

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Before launching in a specific country, to prepare with the CEO a template for the analysis of the global operation cost, as well as the local operation cost (Capex, Opex), and map these costs to the transaction sales volumes forecasts. The idea is to be able to perform our pricing accurately.
  • During the operation, for each geography, be able to monitor in real-time several KPIs that determine the health of the business and its profitability as forecasted based on a business plan.
  • To participate as an active and decisive member of the fintech pricing committee; role is to design standard pricing schemes for each client industry and receivable size; also for day-to-day custom pricing schemes determination during client onboarding
  • Implement an information gathering and update mechanism
  • Gather all required and relevant information / documentation relevant to a particular geography
  • Understand the competition pricing and their margins
  • Understand the business dynamics and strategic directions in acquiring market share
  • Understand the sales and marketing plans dynamically
  • Establish a financial analysis tool/practice that allows executives to understand past periods financial results and perform “what-if” analysis on a continual basis
  • Recommend increase/decrease in Fees Revenue by amending several schemes for a given period, whilst staying within the acceptable range of Net Margin
  • Recommend CAPEX reductions (CAPEX is incurred with the implementation of new use cases in the platform, opening of new physical offices, acquiring of equipment, and others)
  • Recommend OPEX optimization (such as HR cost, technology hosting fees, general expenses)
  • Recommend strategies for reducing Transaction Cost by committing higher volumes to acquirers (economy of scale), or changing authorizing partners

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in any of the following – Accountancy, Management, Statistics, Economics or Banking and Finance
  • Strong drive for results and target-oriented
  • Analytical and organisational skills with an eye for detail
  • Logic and critical thinking and reasoning abilities
  • Presentation skills
  • Able to be a team player and work on own initiative
  • Excellent communications skills, especially writing business level English
  • MS and SQL proficient
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines on time
  • Experience working with data management techniques 
  • Experience in projects will be considered and asset.

Working hours:

Monday to Friday on weekly rotation 9:00am to 5:00pm and 10:00am to 6:00pm

Salary

The salary is based on previous skills and experience and negotiable Salary and medical cover after probation (6 months)
