Our client, an IT Development Company specialized in developing online games, is looking for a Senior Corporate Lawyer for their offices in Limassol. The role will require to provide support and consultancy in all legal related matters.
Responsibilities:
- Participates in new licensing applications to new jurisdictions in collaboration with Compliance department
- Creates drafts of licensing/loan/service agreements for all the Companies of the Group
- Providing proactive legal advice, to the UBO and Board of Directors, in a timely manner on all legal matters affecting the business
- Preparing/drafting agenda, resolutions, minutes and other documents for all meeting of the BOD/shareholders of the Group
- Reviewing and optimizing the internal processes and ensuring the efficiency of the Legal Department
- Providing legal advisory and support for all internal departments including HR and Labor law related issues
- Managing relationships and legal costs with all external legal advisors
- Responsible for drafting, implementing amendments and addendums of existing agreements with 3rd Party Providers, Banks, Regulators as well as managing termination and settlement issues which may occur
- Communication with local and international banks and preparation of documentation for submission to banks
- Responsible for supervising and overseeing the legal department team, and assisting in organizing the department, training and sharing responsibilities at all parties
- Establishing and maintaining a filing system with all legal and corporate documentation
- Managing mergers and acquisitions processes, including drafting of documentation, Due Diligence processes and negotiation of terms between the Parties
Requirements:
- Proven experience of 3 years and more in a similar position
- Regulated market experience is a must-have (Online gaming/gambling/forex)
- Excellent command of English and Greek
- Experience in managing a team
- Sound knowledge of current CY and international corporate law, regulations and common practices in compliance
- Proven experience with the Cyprus jurisdictions (experience with other EU jurisdictions will be considered an advantage)
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity

Working hours:
The working hours are Monday to Friday from 9am – 6pm
