Our client, a Real Estate Investment Company in Larnaca, is looking to hire a Senior Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to play a key role in maintaining exceptional accounting standards while ensuring full compliance with the company’s policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Recording of transactions
- Liaising with associates for completion of bookkeeping
- Reconciling outgoing payments, bank accounts, foreign currency exchange differences and inter-company accounts
- Assisting in the audit process and preparing relevant documentation
- Preparing of quarterly VAT returns
- Managing all financial transactions and payments
- Managing balance sheet and profit/loss accounts
- Handling accruals and pre-payments on invoices issued and received
- Preparing loan calculations and relevant documents
- Any other tasks as specified by Management related to professional capacity
Requirements:
- University Degree in Accounting & Finance/or other related degree
- 3-5 years of previous work experience in Accounting
- Experience in international companies
- Experience in accounting software
- Knowledge of ERP, SBO systems
- Excellent Microsoft Office - emphasis in Excel & Outlook
- Very good knowledge of Greek and English language Personal Characteristics
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to maintain high levels of concentration
- Ability to work autonomously and as a team member
- Located in or nearby Larnaca
The working hours are 9am – 6pm with 1 hour lunch break from Monday to Thursday.
3 Fridays per month the working hours are 9am – 3pm and 1 Friday per month the working hours are 9am – 6pm with 1 hour lunch.
This is an onsite role.
