Our client is an International financial services company and they are looking for an Reconciliation Officer to be based at their offices in Limassol.
The company is providing financial services, including bookkeeping, reporting, reconciliation, financial planning and analysis, and financial consultancy within the Financial / Fintech/FX sectors.
Position Overview:
- You will be preparing, handling, updating, and reconciling accounts in accordance with the regulations as well as the company’s policies and procedures.
- Moreover, you will be part of our exceptional Reconciliation team, with greater scope to make a vital impact on our company’s success and further development!
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Reconcile Data in the accounting system (Reconcile banks / PSP’s Balances with their statement and Client Balances with Platform balances) daily.
- Acquiring data from CRM and Bank / PSP / LP statements and other sources and prepare reports to import into Reconciliation system.
- Producing daily client’s journals for posting into the Reconciliation System.
- Ability to identify errors and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Preparing various daily / weekly / monthly reports related to client’s funds and balances.
- Adhere to corporate standards and procedures relating to reconciliation activities.
- Liaise with other departments to investigate discrepancies.
Requirements:
- 2 years of previous experience in a similar position (PSPs, APMs, EMIs and banks) within the forex industry
- Degree in Accounting or holder of LLCI Higher
- Student/member of ACA/ ACCA will be an advantage
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in Greek and English.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office/ Excel and familiarity with relevant MRS (Methodos)
- Experience working with CRM systems
