Due to the extension of their company our client, a Software Development Company in the Online Industry based in Nicosia, is looking to recruit an experienced QA Engineer to test the inhouse billing system of the company. This is a very large database and the whole process needs to be tested. So, it is a QA role but in the finance part of the company.
Responsibilities:
Taking part in department's everyday QA processes, which include test planning, system testing, test automation, troubleshooting and support activities
Creating Test Cases and Test Reports
Communicating with internal development teams regarding requirements clarifications and quality expectations
Testing internal procedures
Estimating risks and testing efforts
Reading agreements and terms
Executing test cases across all functional areas of our products
Creating a detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test setup, test plan and test cases
Reporting Bugs
Analysing specifications
Qualifications:
Experience in Quality and Revenue Assurance
Knowledge / experience with SQL databases
Knowledge in Python
Understanding of development processes
Strong knowledge of different testing methods and techniques
Experience in API testing
Experience within the billing department is a big advantage
Excellent command of the English language (both written and verbal)
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
High analytical skills
Good attention to details
Willingness to take responsibility and show initiatives
Ability to learn quickly
Self-motivated proactive personality with a positive attitude
Good problem-solving skills
