Job Description – Payments Operations Officer

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Communicating with banks and payment providers to ensure smooth transactions.
  • Monitoring and responding to sales inquiries in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Clear and responding to emails, messages, and requests in a timely manner.
  • Assisting in payment provider setups via cashier.
  • Supporting continuous improvement efforts and updating the internal knowledge base.
  • Reporting issues and providing information to payment providers.
  • Ensuring completion of assigned tasks within the business day.
  • Liaise with correspondent banks and third-party payment providers on any issues related to payments.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in a similar role or onboarding-focused role within the financial services industry.
  • Experience and knowledge of payment industry regulations, standards, and processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience in working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience working with PSPs and an understanding of industry trends and potential challenges.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in documentation and contract management.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related fields, will be considered a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel skills
