Our client is a long well-established Group in the field of Investments, mainly in the Shipping sector and they are looking to recruit a high-caliber and motivated individual for a Part-time Accountant for their office in Limassol.
Key Duties / Responsibilities
- Recording day to day financial transactions and keeping proper accounting records for Group Companies and Branches
- Regular review of intercompany transactions
- Monthly reconciliations of Creditors, Debtors, Banks
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns
- Assist in the preparation of Financial Statements
- Liaise with banks and auditors
- Preparation of payments
- Preparation of financial reports / analysis
- Meeting company reporting deadlines
Key Skills / Experience
- Degree Holder in Accounting and Finance or any other relevant field – please feel free to remove if you believe this will make the process easier
- Prior experience in accounting/bookkeeping will be considered as an advantage
- Good personality and ability to work as a member of a team and supporting colleagues
- Fluent in Greek and English
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of Excel, Word and Microsoft Outlook
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ethical, Trustworthy, discreet, dynamic with the ability to work under pressure
