Our client, an Offshore Services Company in Limassol is looking to hire a Marine Operation Coordinator for their team in Limassol.

Responsibilities:

  • Office Administration
  • Coordinate VISA and travel documents when required for the superintendents or crew members 
  • Preparing the HSE reports collecting the data from the ship managers HSE monthly reports
  • Monitoring and supervising the daily activities of the assigned vessels:
    • Daily Reports
    • Crew Rotation
    • Crew List
    • Contracts
    • Certifica Monthly
    • Reports (Montly/Quarterly/Annually)
    • Technical Documents
    • ISO 9001 documents
    • Correspondence with:
      • Charterers
      • Suppliers
      • Agents
      • Insurers
      • Authorities
      • Contractors
      • Surveyors
      • Brokers
  • Purchase Orders: manage the Requisitions received from the vessels, getting the required quotations, issuing the relevant PO acc to the company policy. When received verifying that the invoices are in compliance with the pO or contract then submitting for approval to the Operation Director, collecting the delivery note when the good or the service has been received on board 
  • Cost control: keep update the cost control records acc to the company procedures
  • Keep update the vendor list acc to Company policy
  • Keep update all records acc to Iso 9001 and ISM company procedures
  • Monitoring that the Manning agent is properly providing the crew members acc to the company policy
  • Summary: To provide assistance where needed on an ad hoc basis as required by the company.

Requirements: 

  • Accounting background and previous experience within a ship management company is preferred
  • Fluency in English
  • Open minded
  • Open to learn new tasks
  • Flexible
  • Able to work under stress

Working hours:

The working hours are 8am - 5pm with an hour lunch break or 9am - 6pm with an hour lunch break

Salary:

The company is offering a salary of 1,000 for junior candidates – 2,000 Euros gross per month if the candidate is able to perform the tasks without training plus 13th salary.
