Our client is a ship owning and investment management company in Limassol. They are now looking to employ a Legal Assistant & Compliance Coordinator to support its legal, corporate, and compliance activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate KYC, due diligence, and compliance-related documentation across multiple jurisdictions
  • Liaise with banks, corporate service providers, regulators, and external partners
  • Manage corporate secretarial matters, including maintaining corporate records, preparing resolutions, minutes and filings
  • Assist in the preparation of documentation for international transactions and internal corporate projects
  • Support corporate and legal matters related to vessel-owning structures and shipping operations
  • Maintain and organize legal and corporate documentation, including contracts, corporate structures and compliance records 
  • Collaborate closely with the company's legal team, internal stakeholders, and external partners in Cyprus and abroad

Requirements:

  • Degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field will be considered as an advantage 
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a legal, compliance, or corporate support role, with hands-on experience in KYC, due diligence, and compliance processes (mandatory).
  • Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and spoken (mandatory)
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Professional, discreet, and a proactive approach
  • Experience working with banks, corporate service providers, or international structures will be considered as an advantage.

Working Hours:

The working hours are Monday – Friday, 40 hours a week 9am-5pm (1 day from home)
