Our client is a boutique property development and investment company in Limassol , seeking to onboard an Legal Advisor who has had experience within Property and Real Estate .

Position Summary:

  • The Legal Advisor at Square One will support all legal aspects of our real estate operations, including drafting and negotiating documents, conducting due diligence for property acquisitions, and ensuring compliance.
  • You’ll work closely with internal teams, facilitate transaction clearances, and provide legal guidance across various functions in a fast-paced, growing environment.
  • This role is perfect for a proactive legal professional eager to contribute to a dynamic real estate leader in Cyprus.

Responsibilities:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various legal documents, including contracts of sale, share purchase agreements, and lease agreements
  • Assist in legal due diligence on acquisitions of new property.
  • Prepare clients KYC and Source of Funds prior to transactions.
  • Liaise with the Tax Department and Land Registry and municipality to facilitate clearances prior to transactions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and project management, to provide legal advice and guidance on business activities
  • Support the team in various administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Legal Firm (Real Estate Law experience will be considered a substantial advantage.)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field
  • Admission to the Cyprus Bar Association or eligibility to be admitted within a reasonable timeframe
  • Strong knowledge of Cyprus law, particularly in real estate and contract law
  • Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software
  • Previous experience or internships in a law firm or legal department is a plus
