Our client is an established and profitable online casino with an experienced leadership team coming from major household gambling operators. They are looking for an IT Support Officer. In this role you will be the main point of contact for all IT and security related issues in the company. Low-volume high-availability trade-off means part-time or flexible hours schedule are welcome. As part of a highly successful SME (small/medium enterprise), candidates will get the opportunity to branch out and acquire knowledge by supporting other business domains like data engineering, customer operations and product development.

We are looking for a person with experience in a FOREX/Igaming environment in a company which is fast paced and the person should be able to know what is needed to keep the company running: stable connections, understanding user needs in fixing issues (IT helpdesk) and what laptops people need to do their job (laptop specs).

Goals:

  • Acquire knowledge of all technical systems and data stores
  • Highlight security concerns and implement corrective actions
  • Manage and maintain accesses from onboarding to departure
  • Support staff on all IT matters including weekend, holidays, and after-hours

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Azure AD and Office 365
  • Install and configure computer software
  • Provide technical support to staff (including overseas and remote)
  • Access mapping and management of all technical systems
  • Implement IT security best-practices
  • Increase IT security awareness through training and monitoring
  • Coordinate software, and hardware procurement

Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Office 365
  • Knowledge of LAN and wireless networks
  • At least 1 to 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • i-gaming/forex experience is a must
  • Troubleshooting and critical thinking 
  • Hands-on, solution focused mind-set
  • Good communication 
  • Eu-citizenship

Working hours:

Regular office hours with some flexibility, but office presence is mostly required. In this role though you will always be on-call unless holidaying
