Our client, a well-known group of companies who offer services across five inter-connected industries: Maritime, Business, Travel, Property and Environment, is looking to hire a  IT and Office Administrator, location is Limassol.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • IT Administration
    • Provide first-line technical support to staff for hardware, software, and network issues.
    • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other IT equipment.
    • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory or equivalent systems.
    • Monitor and maintain local networks, internet connectivity, and VPN access.
    • Ensure regular backups and data recovery procedures are in place and tested.
    • Maintain IT asset inventory and ensure timely procurement and replacement of equipment.
    • Liaise with external IT vendors and service providers for support and procurement.
  • Office Administration:
    • Oversee general office operations including supplies, equipment, and facility maintenance.
    • Coordinate with building management and service providers (printers, security, AC units etc.).
    • Support onboarding/offboarding processes (e.g., setting up workstations, access cards, telephones and cars).
    • Maintain records, documentation, and filing systems (digital and physical).
    • Assist in organizing company’s fixed assets and update lists accordingly after organized inspections.
    • Ensure archiving of certificates for iso procedures and inspections.
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the office environment. 

Required Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in IT support and/or office administration.
  • Technical Knowledge.
    • Strong understanding of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
    • Familiarity with IT security best practices (firewalls, switches, OS, antivirus).
    • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365) is a plus.
    • Knowledge of backup solutions and disaster recovery planning. DR is considered an advantage.
  • Administrative Skills:
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Proficiency in office software (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
    • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
