Our client, an IT Services Company, based in Limassol, is currently looking for an experienced hands-on Information Security Analyst to join their Security team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and auditing critical assets, analyze threats, and propose improvements for overall security posture.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor & Detect: Analyze events, system logs, and system activity for suspicious patterns or intrusions using security tools from our arsenal.
- Analyze & Investigate: Examine security incidents, identify root causes, and investigate for potential threats.
- Audit websites and webapps: Audit websites and webapps to detect vulnerabilities or weakness in their functionality. (e.g. leverage an sms functionality of a website without limitations, resulting in high cost. etc.)
- Incident & Response: Be part of the Incident & Response team to identify and neutralize threats as they arise.
- Research & Advise: Stay updated on new threats and vulnerabilities, recommending security improvements to management.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of working experience in a related position.
- Hands-on experience with EDR, penetration testing/vulnerability analysis tools.
- Good knowledge of security technologies such as EDR, WAF, IPS, etc.
- Basic understanding of various information technologies (Windos/Linux systems, Active Directory, etc.).
- Cloud security knowledge will be considered an advantage.
- Entry-level security certifications will be considered an advantage.
- Strong interest in security.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
- Critical thinker, analytical and methodical.
- Very good verbal and non-verbal communication.
- Adaptable and fast learner.
- Team Player.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
