Our client, an FX Trading Company, based in Limassol, is looking for a dynamic and motivated HR Officer, with experience in the Financial Services Industry, to join their team. The HR Officer is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes within the Company. This role ensures compliance with employment laws, supports employee relations, and promotes a positive workplace culture. The HR Officer will work closely with management to develop and implement policies that align with organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Selection:

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, shortlisting, and onboarding.
  • Develop and maintain job descriptions and specifications.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs.

Employee Relations:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee queries and grievances.
  • Mediate and resolve workplace conflicts in a fair and constructive manner.
  • Promote positive employee relations through engagement initiatives.

HR Policies and Compliance:

  • Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures in line with local labor laws.
  • Ensure the organization complies with employment laws and industry regulations.
  • Regularly update management on legal and regulatory changes.

Performance Management:

  • Implement and oversee performance evaluation systems.
  • Support managers in conducting appraisals and identifying training needs.
  • Encourage career development through training programs and mentorship.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Administer payroll, benefits, and leave management systems.
  • Ensure accuracy in employee compensation and benefits packages.
  • Conduct periodic salary surveys to maintain competitive pay structures.

Training and Development:

  • Identify and coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills.
  • Support leadership development initiatives.
  • Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness.

HR Administration:

  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
  • Prepare reports and analyze HR metrics for decision-making.
  • Manage employee exit processes, including exit interviews.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 1–3 years of experience in an HR role.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a global team.
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written; additional languages will be considered an advantage.

Working Hours:

  • Monday – Friday, 9am – 6pm (onsite)
