Our client is a dynamic independent provider of trust and corporate services established in Cyprus, offering inter alia, tax advisory, fund administration, investment services, accounting and book-keeping, legal services and insolvency services in a number of key jurisdictions. The Group's business is focused on professionalism, attention to detail, and specialization on selected services with a strong partner network worldwide. Currently they are looking to recruit a Head of Finance for their established offices in Limassol. This role can be done fully remotely. You’ll only need to go to the office for meetings and some other obligations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the finance team, ensuring efficient operations, high performance, and a collaborative working culture.
- Oversee daily financial activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of all outputs.
- Provide strategic direction, mentorship, and performance evaluation to finance team members.
- Manage a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring strong relationships and consistent delivery of high-quality financial services.
- Execute complex accounting tasks, including reconciliations, consolidations, and financial reporting.
- Offer financial and strategic advice on business transactions and investment decisions.
- Drive the implementation and integration of new accounting systems, ensuring team adoption and effective training.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes and contribute to overall business planning and decision-making.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting or equivalent
- ACCA/ACA qualified is mandatory
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the accounting services industry
- Management skills and experience
- Fluent business level Greek and English
- Customer service orientation
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Initiative and reliability
- Team player and interpersonal skills
- Time management and organization skills
Working hours:
- The working hours are from Monday to Thursday from 9:00 - 18:00 with an hour lunch break and Friday's from 9:00 - 15:30.
