Our client, a CySEC licensed FX Company in Limassol, is looking to hire a Head of Compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with compliance matters per internal policies and agreements with senior management.
- Address internal and external compliance queries as needed.
- Help draft and develop policies to meet CySEC and local regulatory requirements.
- Establish and enforce internal practices and procedures to comply with legislation and regulations.
- Implement and conduct compliance monitoring as per regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and submit reports to CySEC and other EU bodies, including COMP-CIF, CA-CIF, MPS, IFR, and others.
- Stay current on regulatory changes and update internal policies accordingly.
- Communicate with regulatory bodies and other stakeholders on compliance issues.
- Ensure marketing materials comply with legal requirements.
- Collaborate with all departments to implement controls and procedures.
- Assist with training (CPDs) and general guidance for staff.
- Support license applications and prepare submission packages.
- Monitor and review service providers, ensuring due diligence and compliance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business, or related fields; CySEC certifications preferred.
- 3+ years in a senior compliance role, preferably in financial services with CySEC knowledge.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage tasks and work collaboratively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and compliance management systems.
Working Hours:
- The working hours are Monday – Friday Flexible starting time between 8:00 – 9:00 AM and finishing between 17:00 – 18:00 (onsite job)
