Our client, a CySEC regulated Forex Company in Limassol, is looking to recruit a Risk Manager for its Head office in Limassol. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing trading risks, providing expert market insights and analysis, collaborate with various departments. Since they do not own the trading platform, the main duties (risk management, setting up of parameters, etc.) are done by the administrator of the platform and the Head of Brokerage is doing basic tasks (not many) and mainly reporting to various authorities and management, monitoring of clients activity, hence there should be a bit more focus on the reporting part. The ideal candidate must have a deep understanding of the Forex markets, strong analytical capabilities, excellent decision-making skills, and a proven track record of executing successful trades. 

Responsibilities:

  • Daily monitoring and management of MT4 Manager
  • Oversight of clients’ accounts and critical margin call percentages
  • Daily calculation of Canadian shares margin
  • Prepare and calculate various quarterly and yearly CySEC statistics reports, including QST quarterly and yearly reports, KFR COH quarterly reports, RBSF yearly reports, RTS28, and Best Execution and Execution Quality Summary yearly reports.
  • Weekly Department Notes Statistics Summary report
  • Other tasks related to Compliance and Backoffice requests and assistance

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or any other related field.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Forex Dealer or Trader, preferably in a senior role within a Forex brokerage or financial institution.
  • Holder of CySEC Advanced certificate is a must.
  • Strong knowledge of Forex markets, trading strategies, and risk management techniques.
  • Proficient in using trading platforms (MT4/MT5), order management systems, and analytical tools.
  • Knowledge of Admin/Manager and Bridge Setups will be considered an advantage.
  • Excellent understanding of technical analysis, chart patterns, and indicators.

Working hours:

  • The working hours are 9am – 6pm, Monday to Friday. This is an onsite position.
