For our client, a Fintech Company in Limassol, we are looking for an experienced and strategic Head of Accounting & Finance to overseeing the company's financial operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, financial planning, and strategic financial management. It’s a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

  • Own day-to-day financial operations across all business units (Prop B2B, B2C, and Brokerage).
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and close processes.
  • Create and monitor budgets, forecasts, and strategic financial plans.
  • Build and implement internal controls, SOPs, and automation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage cash flow and liquidity planning to support growth and trading activity.
  • Oversee all reconciliation, client payouts, and challenge/refund logic with operational and risk teams.
  • Support licensing and regulatory reporting requirements for the upcoming regulated broker entity.
  • Liaise with external auditors, banks, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Deliver KPI dashboards and financial insights to the board and executive team.
  • Mentor and grow the finance team as the company scales.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
  • +7 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance.
  • At least 3 years experience within the Forex / Prop Trading industry
  • Professional certification ACA/ ACCA/ CPA/ CFA required.
  • Excellent communications skills both written and verbal in English Language and Greek are a must (additional languages will be considered an advantage).
  • High integrity, attention to detail, and a results-driven mindset.
  • Exceptional analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Strategic thinking with problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent managerial, planning and organizing skills.

Working hours:

  • The working hours are flexible: 8.00-9:30 - 17:00- 18:30. This is a hybrid role (2 days from home and 3 days from the office).
