Our client, a well know Hotel based in Ayia Napa, is currently looking for a General Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will provide leadership, monitor the Hotel’s operational and financial performance whilst ensuring the Company’s culture is followed. Coordinate the day-to-day activities within the Company’s guidelines to the highest standards of quality.
Responsibilities:
- Setting and meeting budgets and exceeding revenue targets
- To ensure all operational departments perform successfully to their maximum efficiency in accordance with the agreed standards of operation and are individually profitable following the budget guidelines of the hotel.
- Setting pricing strategies and ensuring maximum room occupancies.
- Maintain a business environment based on the hotel’s Mission Statement, Company Vision and Values.
- Establish and maintain high levels of service and gust satisfaction.
- Be demanding and critical when it comes to service and quality standards.
- Frequently verify that the best products are used in the hotel operation.
- Assist Department Heads in being creative and ensure that the highest level of quality is achieved.
- Financial monitoring, analysis and interpretation of financial information.
- To motivate and encourage the team to ensure high standards at all times for our customers.
- Oversee recruitment and training of employees.
- Collaboration with external parties i.e. Tour Operators, Travel Agents, Suppliers and others.
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety and environmental management standards.
Requirements:
- Degree in Hotel / Hospitality Management or other relevant field
- Proven previous experience as a Hotel General Manager
- Fluency in Greek and English; knowledge of other languages will be considered as an advantage
- Proficient with MS Office; knowledge of ERP and CRM software
- Understanding of all hotel management best practices and relevant laws and guidelines
