A well-established forex company in Limassol is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer.

Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure Automation: Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform and Ansible. Streamline provisioning and configuration processes for AWS resources including EC2 instances, VPCs, S3 buckets, load balancers, and databases.
  • Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins to automate software delivery processes. Ensure the reliability and efficiency of deployment pipelines for both containerized and traditional applications. 
  • Containerization and Orchestration: Manage Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters for scalable and resilient application deployments. Implement best practices for containerization, including container security, networking, and storage. 
  • Monitoring and Alerting: Set up monitoring solutions using tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, Zabbix, Nagios, and PRTG to ensure the health and performance of infrastructure and applications. Configure alerts and thresholds to proactively identify and address issues before they impact system availability. 
  • Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices and compliance standards across all infrastructure components, including network security, access control, and data encryption. Manage certificate authorities and public key infrastructure (PKI) for secure communication and authentication. 6. Backup and Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies for critical data and systems hosted on AWS and other platforms.
  • Collaboration and Documentation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide DevOps expertise in designing and deploying solutions. Maintain documentation for infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures using Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience working as a DevOps Engineer or similar role
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS services and tools.
  • Proficiency in automation tools like Terraform and Ansible.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Jenkins, and other related tools.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with database administration and high availability solutions.
  • Proficient in scripting languages including Bash, Python, and PowerShell.
  • Familiarity with virtualization platforms and operating systems. 
  • Experience with monitoring and backup solutions. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes Certified Administrator) are a plus.

Working hours:

  • The working hours 8-9:30 to 17:00 – 18:30 (flexible, 8 hours per day). This is an onsite job.
