Our client, a Property Development Company in Limassol is looking for a Design Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Filing, tracking and reviewing all information received from external architects, engineers and other consultants
- Monitoring project progress in terms of design, tender and construction documentation, consultant appointments, local authority applications/permissions and final approvals
- Attending client meetings to register client requirements, provide design consultation and prepare complete client brief. Ensuring that client brief and standards are met prior to project delivery
- Coordinating and issuing instructions for project design and client brief/design with external architects, interior designers, project managers and contractors during design and construction stages.
- Exploring finishes and preparing relevant mood boards, schedules and specifications, depending on project concept/budget in collaboration with Procurement
- Calculating or reviewing material/finishes quantities and preparing tender package information to assist Procurement, depending on project complexity
- Conducting technical reviews of tender returns and discussing these with Procurement, subcontractors and company directors
- Attending design and construction meetings to discuss design/construction issues and provide resolutions.
- Producing internal layouts/plans, explanatory diagrams and construction details throughout the project to ensure smooth project progress
- Preparing schedules of client additional works for minor projects
- Providing technical support to all company departments and coordinating their requests with external architects and contractors.
- Conducting random and selective construction site visits to check quality of construction. Registering any poor quality of construction, follow up with contractors to rectify and providing feedback to Development.
Requirements:
- Architecture and/or Engineering Degree
- 2-years’ experience in a Consulting Role
- 2-years’ experience in a Property Developer Role
- Fluent in Greek and English
- Good knowledge of Autocad
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Team player
- Self-motivated and willing to learn
Working hours:
- The working hours are 08:30-17:30 or 09:00-18:00, Monday to Friday (onsite)
