Our client, a Technology Company in Nicosia, is looking to recruit a Data Analyst. This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a challenging environment and seeks to develop highly technical skills while contributing to innovative projects.
Responsibilities:
- As a Data Analyst, you will be instrumental in analysing satellite data for various earth observation applications. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Developing algorithms to automate data analysis processes, particularly in assessing infrastructure susceptibility to geohazards and other sources of damage.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide informed interpretation of remote monitoring data.
- Crafting reports and proposals for both commercial and innovation projects
- Providing IT support as required, with a focus on servers, VPNs, and general networking to ensure the smooth functioning of internal systems.
- Assisting in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of IT infrastructure to support the company’s data analysis and project delivery needs.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mathematics, statistics, computing, or a related field.
- Proficiency in relevant coding languages, enabling you to develop and implement algorithms effectively.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, essential for working within our multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of earth sciences, earth observation, or civil engineering is advantageous.
- Fluency in English.
- Flexibility for international travel as needed.
- Proven experience or a strong understanding of IT support systems, including servers, VPNs, and networking essentials.
- A proactive attitude towards resolving IT-related challenges and ensuring seamless operations.
Working hours:
- The working hours are 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday.
