Our client, a Marine Services Company in Limassol, is looking for a Customer Support Officer.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive enquires from the customer through various media including fax, email and letter, or B2B for staff
  • Process these, from the enquiries stage to the invoice stage where applicable, including regular follow up and reminders
  • Coordinate the Principal, Supplier, Customer, forwarding agents interaction through all of the sales processes including but not limited to enquiry, quotation, order receipt & acknowledgement
  • Request for readiness, dispatch, freight tracking, documentation legalization, invoicing, etc. (where applicable) 
  • Creation and control of all manual and electronic filing systems for customer sales cases and all relevant office paperwork
  • To order from the receptionist general office supplies, printing supplies (ie Envelopes etc.), Stationary, etc.
  • To back-up other colleagues within the same department in case of absence and ensure smooth flow of operations
  • Respond to customer and suppliers’ general inquiries as necessary and coordinate with the Operations Manager, Sales Manager or General Manager
  • Maintain the most efficient implementation of the ISO 9001 system, the Environmental, and the Health & Safety procedures of the company.

Requirements:

  • Experience in the maritime industry in procurement for 2-3 years or qualification / education in shipping is a must
  • School Diploma (Apolitirion) 
  • College or University Degree is a plus
  • Other Certificates (type writing, languages, etc)
  • Fluency in English
  • Self-sufficient and happy working alone
  • Self-motivated
  • Excellent telephone manners
  • Good working knowledge of word and excel. 
  • Numerate.
  • Presentable and personable
  • Good organisational skills
  • Reliable and conscientious
  • Good sense of humour
  • Located in Limassol
  • EU-citizenship

Salary:

  • The company is offering a salary of 1,500 – 1,700 Euros gross x 14 salaries plus provident fund 3% after probation + 85 euro coffee shop allowance, top up of maternity and paternity leave to 100%, half day leave on BD and 20 days leave year 1 and then 21 after year 1

Working hours:

  • The working hours are 8 am to 6 pm and lunch break between 1pm and 3 pm, Monday - Friday (100% from office)
