Our client, a Fintech Company in Limassol, is looking for a Control Desk Specialist for ensuring operational compliance, monitoring trading activity, and supporting internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor dashboards for technical and financial anomalies using internal tools;
  • Oversee trading activity to ensure alignment with company policies and compliance standards;
  • Track billing system activity, including deposits and withdrawals, and flag irregularities;
  • Prepare internal reports and escalate cases to the Team Lead, Chief Compliance Officer, and relevant departments;
  • Communicate with technical teams and exchange representatives to resolve issues in real-time;
  • Respond to customer inquiries via email (only), ensuring timely and professional resolution;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain platform reliability and compliance.

Requirements:

  • Willingness to work onsite in our Limassol office (mandatory);
  • Fluency in spoken and written English;
  • Previous experience working night shifts (required);
  • Background in prediction markets, event contracts, sporting events, or financial markets, including options and derivatives;
  • At least 2 years experience in Forex, trading, or financial markets; such as a dealer, trading desk, back-office, KYC.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure;
  • Experience in customer service or client-facing roles is a plus;
  • Interest in finance, trading, or fintech is a plus;
  • High stress tolerance, responsibility, and ability to act independently.

Working hours:

  • The working hours are a variation of the following (rotating weekly):
    • 0:00-8:30am
    • 8:00am-4:30pm
    • 11:00am-7:30pm
    • 2:00pm-10:30pm
    • 4:00pm-0:30am
    • 8:00pm-4:30am 
  • It's a hybrid role (day shifts are office-based and night shifts are home-based)
