Our client, an EU Investment Firm, specializing in Prime Brokerage Services, is looking to recruit a CEO for their Head office in Limassol. As a Director you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations and strategic direction of the firm. You will lead a team of professionals and work closely with the Board to achieve the company's goals and objectives. Your role will encompass various aspects of management, including financial performance, regulatory compliance, business development, client relationships, and team leadership. We are looking for someone who has a background in helping to grow the company in terms of sales and business development. Someone to drive the business development side to take the company to new regions people, opened offices on other countries and who has done this before. Hybrid working.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement the company's strategic plan in alignment with the boards vision.
- Set clear goals and objectives for the organization and ensure they are communicated effectively to the team.
- Identify emerging industry trends, opportunities, and risks to guide decision-making.
- Provide strong leadership to the executive team and foster a positive and high-performance work culture. Set clear expectations, provide guidance, and support professional development initiatives for employees.
Financial Management:
- Monitor and manage the financial performance of the company, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth.
- Prepare and oversee the annual budget, regularly reviewing financial statements and reports.
- Implement effective cost control measures and optimize operational efficiency.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for revenue growth and diversification.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, particularly those set by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC).
- Stay updated with changes in regulatory requirements and ensure the company's policies and procedures remain compliant.
- Foster a strong compliance culture within the organization and provide guidance to employees on regulatory matters.
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's client base.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including institutional clients, partners, and regulators.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop effective strategies for client acquisition and retention.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential areas for growth.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Holder of Advanced CySEC certification.
- Registered and approved by CySEC
- A minimum of 5 years experience in senior management functions within a well-established and big forex company
- A background in helping to grow the company in terms of sales and business development is a must
- Fluency in English languages at a professional level.
- Strong knowledge and extensive experience in dealing, with finance, compliance, and regulatory matters.
- Strong and deep knowledge of all operating functions of CFD and Stockbroker.
- Strong management and organizational skills.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving mindset.
- Strong leadership and delegation skills
- EU-citizenship
