Our client, a Marine Technology Services Company based in Limassol, is looking to hire a Business Analyst who will play a key role in shaping the trajectory of our software development processes and technology solutions. This position is integral to ensuring that our technology systems and operations meet and exceed the expectations of our stakeholders and end-users. By analyzing and refining business and technical requirements, you will not only rely on data and customer feedback but also on your keen insights into the rapidly evolving landscape of the maritime technology industry. Your responsibility is to seamlessly merge the needs of our customers and business units with technical possibilities, ensuring that our software solutions remain efficient, reliable, and customer-centric.
Responsibilities:
- Continuously gather and analyze technical requirements for web and mobile applications, as well as exposed APIs, ensuring that priorities align with data insights and customer feedback.
- Represent the voice of our customers and stakeholders, understanding their requirements and ensuring that their experiences with our software solutions are positive and consistent.
- Collaborate closely with software engineering teams and UX/UI designers, translating technical and business requirements into actionable wireframes, specifications, and user stories.
- Foster and maintain relationships with stakeholders across various business departments, educating them on technological advancements and exploring potential opportunities for software-based solutions.
- Act as the primary communicator and link between stakeholders and internal technical teams.
- Prioritize technical needs, balancing scope, budget, and time, weighing priorities, and making trade-offs according to the needs and objectives of stakeholders.
- Oversee the end-to-end analysis and documentation of technical and business requirements; this includes ensuring readiness for implementation by internal and external development teams.
- Ensure that software solutions adhere to the highest user-centered design principles and meet design quality standards.
- Research market and operational requirements specific to software solutions and collaborate with teams as needed to address identified needs.
Qualifications:
- Basic IT proficiency, including familiarity with common software suites, troubleshooting and automation tools.
- A talent for identifying technical demands through a user-growth perspective.
- Proficiency in various analytic tools.
- Good knowledge of the software development lifecycle and its associated processes, Agile and Scrum frameworks.
Working hours:
- The working hours are 8:30am-5pm with half an hour break (hybrid, 2 days from home).
