Our client a Real Estate Asset Management company in Nicosia is looking for a Bookkeeper.

The company is one of the largest independent real estate asset management and advisory practices in the region with presence across Europe. The clients benefit from our ability to offer advice on the broadest range of services and solutions for private equity, financial institutions, public organizations, and institutional investors.

Overview:

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our dynamic finance team.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and providing timely financial information to support business decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update the general ledger with accurate and timely data entries.
  • Record day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure consistency with financial records.
  • Handle invoicing and ensure timely payment collection.
  • Manage company expenses and keep accurate records of receipts and financial documents.
  • Collaborate with the finance team for audits.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of financial policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and deadlines.
  • Undertake any other specific duties as required by the Financial Manager.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a similar role.
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping software such as QuickBooks, Zoho, or similar accounting tools (will be considered an advantage).
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Excellent knowledge of Greek and English language (written and spoken).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
