Our client, an Audit, Accounting, Tax and Financial Advisory Services Company located in Limassol, is looking to hire a Mid-level Auditor (with 2-3 years of experience) to join their existing audit team.
Position Summary
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Auditor to evaluate financial records, operational procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- The Auditor will identify risks, recommend process improvements, and support organizational integrity through accurate and objective assessments.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine financial statements, accounting records, and operational processes for accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct external audits according to audit plans and professional standards.
- Assess internal controls and identify areas of financial or operational risk.
- Prepare audit reports with findings, recommendations, and corrective action plans.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Review budgets, expenditures, payroll, inventory, and other financial activities.
- Collaborate with department managers to improve procedures and strengthen controls.
- Maintain detailed documentation of audit procedures and findings.
- Follow up on previous audit recommendations and monitor implementation progress.
- Support investigations related to discrepancies, fraud risks, or compliance issues when required.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant degree, or part completion of relevant degree.
- Proven experience in auditing, accounting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, auditing standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/audit software. (CaseWare. ESoft)
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities in English and Greek.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
Working Conditions
- Office-based, part hybrid
- 35 hours per week with 1 afternoon off per week

Working Hours:
- Our working hours are as follows:
- 08:30 to 17:00 Monday to Friday
- Except on either Wednesday or Friday (at the employees choice) 08:30 to 13:30
- Our work from home policy is on a rotational basis being 2days from home in 1 week and 3 days the following week. This is also optional at the choice of the employee should they require to work only from the office.
