A CySEC regulated Forex Trading Company based in Limassol, is looking to hire an Arabic-speaking Compliance Assistant.
Responsibilities:
Compliance Officer (CO) Assistant Duties:
- Assist the CO in maintaining documentation of compliance activities, such as complaints received or investigation outcomes.
- Assist the CO in verifying availability of all required documents for account opening
- Implementation of the Company’s AML policies and procedures as well as AML Risk Based Approach
- Tasked with the ongoing monitoring of high risk Clients’ transactions and activities, as and when applicable under the supervision of the MLCO
- Assist in following-up of all compliance regulations and on-time communication to Management and staff
- Assist in duties relating to account opening for new clients following the Company’s Client Acceptance Policy
- Work closely with management and other departments in handling AML relating issues
- Perform general operations tasks working with a team of professional specialists
- Work consultatively and in close coordination with the respective Group offices
- Assist in providing a central point of contact for information on compliance-related issues (e.g. breach of regulation, non-respect of procedures, conflict of interest)
MLRO Assistant Duties:
- Assist with the oversight of compliance with the CySEC’s rules on systems and controls against Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing
- Assist in the monitoring of the day-to-day operation of AML/CFT policies,
- Assist with the performance of ongoing monitoring of clients files and transactions
- Assist in establishing and maintaining an appropriate anti money laundering staff training programme and adequate awareness arrangements.
Requirements:
- Fluent Arabic and English speaker (also reading and writing)
- Good communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree is a plus
- Experience in a similar role is an advantage
The company is offering a salary of 1,500 – 2,000 (for candidates with relevant forex experience) Euros gross plus medical insurance + ticket to home country + discretionary bonus
Working hours:
- The working hours are from 8h30 to 5h30 with one hour lunch break from Monday to Friday.
