Our client, an International Family Office based in Limassol that is part of a large financial investment group, is looking to hire an Accountant for their office here in Cyprus.
The position will be responsible for:
In charge of the financial and administrative support of several simple entities in Cyprus, Luxembourg and Cayman including bookkeeping (transactions + Opex + payroll
Interaction with Tax advisers (Income Tax + VAT),
Preparation of audit file,
Intercompany reconciliations
Processing and Management of Opex and payments for the group;
Budgeting Opex ;
Administrative support;
Ad-hoc financial analysis for transaction or internal restructuring.
The ideal candidate will have/be:
3 to 5 years of experience preferably in the Big 4 (senior 1 / Senior 2) in audit or accounting department or in a Tier 1 local fiduciary company;
Strong IFRS background;
Knowledge in tax compliance (VAT/Income Tax);
Back-office experience is a strong plus but not a pre-requisite;
Reporting and controlling background;
ACCA or equivalent will be an advantage but not a pre-requisite;
Preferably education in a university in UK but not a pre-requisite;
Someone attracted by accounting functions with strong analytical skills;
Highly motivated to work within an Investment firm;
Knowledge in Navision or equivalent accounting system is a plus but a must
Strong team spirit and collaborative mindset.
Salary:
The company is offering a very competitive salary of between 30 000 - 40 000 Euros gross per annum plus a discretionary bonus based on performance.
