Our client is a Payment Service Provider in Limassol looking for an Accountant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for bookkeeping, tax compliance, payroll management, and overall financial record-keeping for our Cyprus entity. This role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of local accounting regulations and tax laws. The position will be part time initially. There is an option for hybrid, there is also an option for part time as well as full time.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and perform full-cycle bookkeeping.
- Prepare and submit VAT, corporate tax, and other regulatory filings in compliance with Cyprus tax laws.
- Process and manage payroll, ensuring timely salary payments and social security contributions.
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with all local accounting and tax regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5 years experience in bookkeeping and accounting, preferably in Cyprus.
- Strong knowledge of Cyprus tax regulations and payroll processing.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Fluency in English and Greek is essential.
Working hours:
- The working hours are 9am-5.30pm with 30 minutes break. There is an option for hybrid, there is also an option for part time as well as full time.
